Brown

The images in this series are taken from Henry T. Brown's very fully illustrated work Five hundred and seven mechanical movements: embracing all those which are most important in dynamics, hydraulics, hydrostatics, pneumatics, steam engines, mill and other gearing, presses, horology, and miscellaneous machinery, and including many movements never before published and several which have only recently come into use - first published in 1869 and now in the public domain.

Oddly enough, Hiscox's later (and more extensive) volume on the same subject uses engravings that are very similar and sometimes identical to the illustrations in Brown's book. I've removed a few that were too similar to things I've already uploaded to really be useful.

Since I hold no rights to this work, I will not attempt to establish any "rules" regarding its use on DA or elsewhere. A comment and maybe a +fav would be nice though.
